Bose X headsets with twin GA plugs

Postby Paul_Sengupta » Tue May 01, 2012 12:26 pm

I have two Bose X helicopter headsets for sale (now converted to twin plug fixed wing, see below), complete with brand new earseals (still in their boxes, the earseals that is). The headsets have a couple of small "wear and tear" scuffs and the Bose cases are a little scruffy, but apart from that look good. They have the coiled leads with the single U174 helicopter plug.

I think I'll put them up at £400 each if anyone's interested.

It's probably uneconomical, but they could be converted to GA twin plugs by replacing the microphone and lead for about £130 from the US.

Or you could buy an adaptor.

I might sell another one a bit later on too if I can get the broken plastic bits replaced!

Hi Paul

Do you still have one for sale? If so, I live just up the the road in Chessington so can pop down to Guildford if that suits.

Regards

John

Yup, all three still for sale! :-)

I can come round if you like, or meet you in a pub.

"Where did you get that headset?"
"I bought it off a bloke in a pub."

Otherwise I can meet you at a flying establishment so you can try them out.

A meet in a pub sounds good but a chance to try them sounds even better. I am thinking ebg Redhill next Tue 14th late am onwards, Wed 15.00 hrs or Thurs after 14.00 hrs. Can Email myself OK but can’t seem to Email you. Don’t know if I’m blocked because I am a Newbie, there is some other problem or I’m just thick, which is the most probable cause. Can you Email me a contact number so we can arrange to meet up. Best regards
John
