If possible, Mrs paultheparaglider and I would like to join. It would be nice to put a few faces to the names.

Thank you PaulS for the heads up.

Right sorry been up to my eyes first with the Flu and then Scout Post (don't swear Carole) Paul Sengupta has just suggested the Custom House Penarth. I can highly recommend it, in fact the Thursday Night Flyers are going there in the next hour for our Christmas Dinner

It isn't a pie and chips venue but it can be as reasonable or as expensive as you want it

I was going to comment that yes, they did have chips, for your benefit, as soon as Carole mentioned it, but I thought it might be a bit rude! ;)

Give it time. PtP said he'd like to come +1 (still on?), Steve N, Perhaps Bob Preston - I told him about it at the show and he was keen. Perhaps I should PM him.

I haven't heard from people so haven't booked any table but I had the feeling Saturday was the favourite. I also haven't heard other from Paul if you are happy to go more upmarket and thus go to the Custom House Penarth or a more pie and chips venue. I will need to book something quickly so if I can have numbers and what sort of venue I can try to sort something tomorrow

Carole My 2p would be perhaps better for us to reschedule later on in January so we get some more take up especially from the English side.

I'm happy for that Steve. I suspect Paul Sengupta and the like may however want a small Welsh get together.
I've not been well for 2 days but wouldn't mind getting out I haven't seen anyone in days
