Sorry Joe, been a bit busy to keep an eye on all the forums of late. I have booked seat J7 for the flicks, but will not be coming from Thame .
What is the plan, drinks afterwards?

Joe: Thanks for the link. I was not able to make it unfortunately (though I know there is another showing this month). However, I did point a friend in the direction of Wallingford, who happened to be in the area. He sent back a very favourable report.
Did you see it yourself?
Give me a Chipmunk and I'll show you a good time.

OK, as Ian is so organised, I have now booked as well. Three tickets across the aisle from you Ian. Not sure whether it will be two or three of us.

There was a showing last Thursday. That one did not have the Q&A session with the directors, which you will get.
Give me a Chipmunk and I'll show you a good time.

One for the nerds (like me!), I have just looked on IMDB and the narration for the film is spoken by Lieutenant Worf (well, Michael Dorn but you see what I mean)!

Excellent dramatised documentary and nice to see Ian Mellville and Brooklands there. Ian tells me that Mark Podbury made it as well, sorry I did not say hello to him. More details of the film here: http://www.factnotfictionfilms.com/shadylady.html

Sorry, I was planning on perhaps coming up for this, but I got an offer of coffee and mince pies at Shoreham (and a flight in a Commander!) so I was otherwise occupied.

Twas a good dramatised documentary, not a straight film as I had expected. Q&A session with director was also interesting. Considering the size of the budget I am impressed that it turned out so well.
Those that have missed it would like to know that the TV rights are being sold for a 52 minute version, so should appear somewhere on the goggle box.
