Consider myself interested :).

Only issue is that I'm going to be away last two weeks of Oct and first 2 weeks of Nov.

But I'm within walking distance of most of the eating places in the town if a suitable date can be arranged.

How close do you have to be to Newbury to qualify?

Count me in.
Haven't been there in years, but the Schechuan Inn in Thatcham used to be a lovely little eating house.

Hmmmm! .... 500miles eh? .... Presuming that that is nautical miles, then you could put me down as a PROB 50 (but PROB 000 if it's within the last 2weeks of October).

Newbury Nosh

Postby adhawkins » Mon Oct 01, 2012 12:34 pm

9th would be better for me, as I'd go from work. I live in Swindon so 10th would mean a specific trip to Newbury (not out of the question, but less favourable).

I could do the 9th, but maybe a Wed / Thursday evening might be better for people whose family have expectations re Friday / Saurdays. My other half tends to book joint social activities on Friday / Saturdays.
