"Ipswich Bloody Airport" reunion

Postby Rob P » Mon Sep 10, 2012 1:07 pm

I can't even remember now why it got the above name in Flyer List days, but whatever, for those who hanker the following has been posted elsewhere.

Ipswich Airport Reunion 2012

Just a note for any old Ipswich flyers that may be hanging around here... the Ipswich Airport Association is holding another reunion this year on Saturday 29 September 2012, 1300 to 1600, at the Ipswich Transport Museum. Anyone with any kind of Ipswich connection is more than welcome... and we'd love to hear from other old Ipswich flyers too, no matter where they are in the world.

Information about the reunion can be found at Ipswich Airport Association website

My Dad attends these, he has re-connected with a few of his old flying buddies and instructors from the early '60s

Whatever happened to Angelika Voss (sp)?

Come to mention it, whatever happened to the Flyer List? Is it still going?
