Breighton 5th/6th May

Postby MOREOIL » Tue Apr 24, 2012 10:57 am

BBQ and Quiz till late sat night 5th may and flyin on 6th, camp over and enjoy the fun, 80 visiting aircraft and 20 or so residents flying last month, no charges !
850 metres of grass and fuel/camping on the airfield- cafe. http://www.realaero.com/bugle.htm
All welcome power chutes to warbirds and everything in between, classics and homebuilds especially appreciated.
Look at your airfield guide and join circuit from the south, usually fun and games on north side,

Quick heads up to anyone flying in on sat or sun. Sherburn are hosting air races on both days so a glance at notams may be prudent I believe they are using a point a little NW of Breighton as a turning point.

Just to say what a great day, friendly, relaxed and welcoming with some very interesting aircraft both on the ground and in the air. Thanks to everyone who made it happen.

My first visit and what a fantastic day out it was too! Lovely airfield, lovely people and some beautiful aircraft.
