I'm certainly interested, but can't get through to either of the given numbers today (Saturday 6th April). Are they weekday-only numbers ?

Iceman - Yes, Filton is only open Monday to Friday, so it will be Tuesday now before anybody answers.

PPR is required in advance for the fly-in, as detailed on the Bristol Filton Airport website.

Woop, the Steriod is back in the air!! :D Minus her transponder - its been removed completely until replaced. :( . I would like to attend this so will have to speak nicely to them to see if they will allow me in without a transponder, that is if they have slots. :drunken:

As mentioned earlier, all slots are now taken.

Unfortunately the forecast is not good, but hopefully many of the aircraft booked in will be able to make it.

Please ensure you read the information published on the airfield website before setting off:-

We look forward to seeing many visitors at Filton tomorrow!

I phoned about 10 days ago. Never received a call back. I'm guessing my PPR request was not accepted.

There was more cake than you could imagine.

Free landings, free bus, free food, free coffee and free cake. Happy staff and brilliant ATC.

Thank you all the people at Filton for a great day out.
