Just checking on the weather it's looking like a bit of IMC will be in order this weekend. Not that I can do that in JONL... of course. Hopefully it won't be bad enough to deter the intrepid amongst us. After all, the prize is some rather excellent Scottish fare and, of course, the top shelf :)

Do we know who is definitely going to be there?

Hi John,

I am going up with Iceman since the Robin is out of action for a few days and the Sportcruiser has already been booked by another group member. I think that the weather would have deterred me anyway (esp. after last year!). The current plan is to start from the 'Bushe sometime on Friday morning. Ice can update on that.

Looking foreward to sampling the top shelf again....
Edward

The plan is to set out from the Bushe at about 1000 local. I like weather as long as it's not TS/CB/icing, and as long as we can actually get into Glenforsa.

Sounds good. I'm learning how to use fire extinguishers (yes, really. Very BIG fire extinguishers!) on Friday morning up at EGNC and should be on my way to Glenforsa by early afternoon if all goes to plan. Provided it's vaguely VMC along the way I'll see you in the bar.

An excellent weekend! Pity there weren't more forumites in the bar but Iceman is hatching a cunning plan for later in the year. Full report when Mark and Edward get back home.
