Northern Australia, somewhere around Darwin. Within a year you'll be begging to come back and have proper seasons.

Oz was a great idea a couple of years ago when it was almost $3 Australian to £1.

Is it still true that $1m in your bank and they will give you citizenship?? So, robbery, fence the goods for at least $1m, move to Oz. Oh, I forgot, that's how most of the population got there........

You can sleep in an aeroplane, but you can't fly a house

Me too. It has flat (ish) bits, pointy bits, snowy bits and warm bits. It's kinda heavy on the cost of living side though.
I'm in the St Lawrence area at the mo and although it is pretty, the winter temps are a little harsh. Seafood is fab though.
What if the Hokey Cokey IS what it's all about?!

I went up to Popham from the S. Coast for lunch - I've never seen so much water draining off the airfield in all the time I've been there. The weather was totally different either side of the S. Downs (the hills with Winchester and the M3 in the gap) - snow and general weather mayhem to the norrth, not great but not all that bad to the south, with the ever present exception of what would be an ATZ around Eastleigh Airport (southampton international) if it had one. That little pocket has a climate all of its own, noticeably different (worse) to its surroundings.
ps: Did anyone migrate to Cyprus on the advice earlier, selling up and putting the proceeds in a Cypriot bank whilst they found a place?

I was in Staines most of today watching a girls hockey match, and apart from a bit of rain, it wasn't too bad. I had an MMS from a chap on the farm of 6 inches of snow near Hungerford
