What did Father Christmas bring you?

Postby Chris Alexander » Thu Dec 27, 2012 9:01 am

Just wondering if Flyer Forum readers were good this year and got everything they hoped for??

I got a new phone and a new aircraft sat nav. The sat nav I can figure- but the phone!!!!!!!!!!

What is going on your new years resolutions list???

Santa bought me a set of 1930s vintage Riesling glasses and a new pair of slippers. Perfect!
CPL IMC FI (A) and registering 9 on the bolometer.

I got a prototype of something I'll need a LAPL(B) and LAPL(H) for when they bring out the production model. Trouble is I'm too easily scared to be a proper test pilot, hopefully JohnM (apparently on the same prototype test programme) is braver than I am:

My girlfriend agreed to marry me - anything else is fairly inconsequential in comparison.

But i'm treating myself to a SkyDemon subscription.

A Combi boiler failure on Xmas eve. No CH or hot water and little chance of a fix for at least another week. :(
Every day, I thank God I'm not religious.

You're not in the Antarctic are you?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-20850360
The £8m ($13m) project, headed by the British Antarctic Survey (Bas), aimed to drill carefully down using near-boiling water to pierce the lake, which has been untouched for as much as half a million years.....
...The programme ran into trouble last week as the main boiler used to heat drilling water broke down

I've heard of the South Pole, let's hope he's a plumber

New headset seals - and a ferocious cold. Partridge were postponed until 26th. Now, if it stops raining long enough for the strip to dry out...

I received 6 bottles of South African wine from ex wife, a model of Leonardo Da Vinci's Great Kite from LadyEagle and gave myself an early morning Xmas day flight. It was special because I was authorized to fly down the runway of an off limits airport :D
Happy only when flying :-)
