And a few professional boffins ;)

Genghis Sr, who was a designer at Supermarine in the 60s, wore thick black framed glasses at the time, and thus inevitably was known to many of his colleagues as "Brains".

T2 has always been my favourite - but one thing I've always found particularly amusing is that the original Brains, who designed all this kit, when he went flying, bypassed all the fancy ways for getting to the various flying machines - and simply walked

At the end of the road on which I grew up was Kay Laboratories who used to process film during the 60's. When the factory closed in the mid-70's it became our adventure playground and while fossicking we found hundreds of the cells (drawings) used when writing Fireball XL5 and Thunderbirds. I remember punching holes in them and using string to make up books, they were ditched in a subsequent house move.

I think UFO was his finest.

Obviously a Gabrielle Drake fan like me.

My TB3 got stood on by my mother and one of its fins broken off! Bless her!

I often think how useful Joe 90's spinning cage thought transferer would be to us pilots.........

So, whose flying talents (always assumed little Joe never got infused with those adults' other memories!) would you get transfered into your head.....?

I'll start with Brian Lecomber, maybe a (surviving) US Vietnam Phantom pilot and Huey pilot.

Both my parents grew up in Slough, somehow my mother managed to get hold of a model bath tub that had been used as Lady Penelopes bath. I don't know what happened to it though unfortunately.
