I really do need a suitable cupboard to keep tools and consumables for the aircraft in the hangar. Locating one isn't as simple as I'd hoped. Really an old office stationery cupboard onto which I could bolt a padlock hasp would be perfect. Just on the offchance, does anybody have such that they wish to get rid of? Rob P

Funnily enough this is exactly what I've been looking for. No luck here either.

There was a place in the farm estate by the A130/A13 roundabout that had all kinds of metal office furniture on sale, cheap. I got a filing cabinet there for not-a-lot.

Another place on the road from Romford to the A127 junction (the one that leads to Abridge and Stapleford). Can't remember their trading name but they often have old style metal office stuff outside.

We have got rid of a few from school. Something else we have that is now surplus to requirements is a laptop safe - a sturdy lockable cabinet, maybe just over a metre tall. Not sure if it is being sold or passed on to another school. Nick

Search eBay for metal cupboard. Plenty to be had.

Sadly they're all at the wrong end of the country.

Ahem! I've got one for you - It's large. It's steel. It's sturdy. It's eminently lockable. You can put your own adjustable shelving in it to suit your every whim and fancy. All yours for a relative pittance for what it is- Oh ! It's a modified 40ft shipping container - so you might have to adjust your hangar.

I'd grab it, but fear my Skoda pick-up might struggle a little
