Gave a lift to organist and churchwardens to lunch "do" yesterday. M dropped her phone in my car, and went burrowing for it. She came up with a pink lip gloss (not hers) down the seat back.
Organist, Mrs Organist, Churchwarden 1 and M want to know whose lip gloss it is, or why I've taken to wearing it.

Can't say I noticed you wearing it at the Panshanger fly-in...
When I was a teenager and into rock music I once had to explain why there was a bullet belt on the back seat of my Dads car... (as in a belt of bullet casings not live bullets).
Far easier to explain than pink lipgloss! (Although I probably would have got more brownie points for lipgloss lol)

Pink? You weren't wearing that shade in Koblenz - more like a burnt panacetta with a hint of chanel No.5

Well, that's a start -- you've found the lip-gloss, but the headset is still missing...
