I took this photo of a photo at an airfield last weekend... but it's not the place it was taken at. Anyone know where it is?
Bonus points available if you can tell me where I took the picture.

Was on another forum several months ago; I think it was in Ukraine but I can't remember the name.
What's an iPad? Do I really care?

... maybe even more bonus points for explaining the connection. ie why is a large aerial photo of this airfield being displayed at the place I visited?

It's not Greenham Common. Too many trees to the North East. I reckon you were at a concrete plant when you took it.

And I suppose you want us to tell you where you were when you took the photo? Must have been a good party

The "patio" paving of the apron and taxiways is very Warsaw pact. Where did you get the photo?

Not Ockham by any chance?
I know it's a silly username. If you've met me, I probably introduced myself as Josh...

Well, Warsaw Pact style aprons and runway markings look a bit different to normal, slightly odd angle to the photo - perhaps a Chipmunk spy flight photo from when they used to do the 20-mile orbit of Berlin? Dining-in at Coningsby?

What have you been smoking?!

Nope, it's been a few years since I did any dining-in. Hung up my part-time blues a few years ago now.
[Cue: RobP posting that photo. ]
