Yes, but having vaguely followed the case, he also says (or said) that it was a stitch up.

Difficult that.
I have the occasional urge to run amuck with a large sharp instrument, perform citizens arrests on people that p*** me off, or just go fly where and when I like and to hell with what anybody else's rules say.
If I actually did any of these things rather than just fantasising about them, would I be ill, or criminal, or just failing to show adult control and responsibility? And in any of these cases, would it be reasonable to describe me as "well bonkers".

I think it's somewhere on the eccentric scale, but acceptable if you tie your own.
