R4. Gaah!

Postby Sir Morley Steven » Tue May 22, 2012 7:35 am

Announcer said " Artist Richard Wilson has built a sculpture longer than a Boeing Airbus". Not pedantic enough to email them but sad enough to mention it on here.
CPL IMC FI (A) and registering 9 on the bolometer.

Regretably "Boeing" is becoming the name for any passenger aircraft to the uninitiated. Like Sellotape and Hoover.

True, just as all light aeroplanes are Cessnas or Piper Cubs (sometimes both at once), and all WW2 fighters are Spitfires.

Some say that all worthwhile cars are the same make, but I've forgotten which one it was.

Had R2 on on the drive back from Bournemouth yesterday. On the news it said Jeremy Paxman had been taught how to hack a mobile phone by Piers Morgan, when he was Daily Mirror editor. I didn't know Paxo was ever a newspaper editor.

Who writes this stuff? Ignorant yoofs?

Mondays 1900 > 2000 is worth listening

Paul Jones Blues Show. Great music and intelligent informative speech. It's a pity that Zoe Ball follows; I so adore hearing tales of her child's vomit
