A while ago I posted some simple rules which I hoped would improve the atmosphere in the Non aviation forum. However it seems to me that from time to time things slip and threads degenerate dragging down the tone of the forums at the same time.
We try our best to moderate with a light touch, but that's going to have to change. The forums are a brilliant resource and we can't just sit and watch squabbles spoil that, particularly in non aviation.
Please be civil - feel free to discuss stuff but mutual respect and reasoned argument rather than abuse or arrogance is the only way ahead. I don't want to shut down non aviation, but we've all got better things to do with our lives than deal with some of the stuff that's been happening of late and if that's what it takes, then that's what will happen.
Thanks
Ian
