There is likely to be a large percentage who do given that this is accessible via computer. How will you account for those who can't be ar£ed to vote? I would speculate that the majority of those will not work in IT as those who do appear keen to sex up it's importance.
Need to define 'IT related'. I use a PC for hours every day, but not an IT person, except to those who know less about than I do. (No one on this forum obviously, except perhaps Rob S). (:-)

I am (nearly not any more) a web designer but i dont see that as IT. Its working on a computer, yes but i dont give a monkeys about how it works, just that the programmes I use do work.
I would also say that a graphic designer isnt in IT although now almost everything they do is on a computer.
I create maps and models, all on computers, using lots of SQL type stuff, I even look after the client/server version of our software, simply because I sat next to the dude who set it up then left 10 years ago.
I'd like to think I don't work in IT, it's not my expertise, but to practice what I'm good at I need to know more about IT the average punter.
