Not sure what your party's skiing ability is like, but if you/they are up to it, I would recommend a trip around the corner to La Grave, skiing wise, a very special place.

Yes...there's a glacier there too. Problem is Les Deux Alpes is renowned for being windy which often closes the link to the glacier (it did when I was there )
