Well Saturdays Lesson went really well.

I managed the take off and all of the flying and nearly all of the Radio work too :)

Mickey could have stayed on the ground :).... no not really

Land approach was.. interesting but got it nearly to he ground before Mickey stepped in - need to work harder on my rudder control i think.

Stalls next

And I need to start thinking about Air law... Boooo

Well another windy day today for lesson 5 :)

I keep driving to the field thinking - naa no way were gonna fly in this... only to have Mickey say no problem....

Class went well - understood what was going on and the new ofdice divider is a great improvment.

My take off we better this time I felt more under control with the rudder. Up to 3.3k for stalls...

No were near as scary as I thought - listen out - feel the plane and dont panic... several stalls later, we went back to flap decents and turns, overshoots and general landing preps.

Did the join and landing approach down to 50ft or so even though the winding was making it hard work i really enjoyed it - what a great day.

Must get my medical sorted...

Woo hoo great lesson today.

Lots of touch and go's loved every - Well almost - minute of it.

Some low cloud/Fog making the circuit interesting but zero winds, with a few other arrivals through the lesson made keeping an ear on the radio important too.

Then off to McD's with the kids for lunch - happy me :)
