Does passing my FIC test/assessment count for here?
BTW PA28s do not spin well, which fact I recall from my basic PPL in 1973 but brought home again on tuesday.

Re: Class of 2012 & Achievements 2012All updated. Great to see the list of PPLs, IR(R)s etc. grow. Congratulations to all.
KNT, I thought you were already a flight instructor, so am unclear if you are claiming a new qualification, or just a revalidation. If we listed every one of those, the list could be long indeed. So the question is - was the PA28 actually spinning and if so, was it intentional or not! Sounds like a fairly thorough assessment you went through. Newbie PPL/Night/IMC flying rented PA28

Re: Class of 2012 & Achievements 2012FIC is Flight Instructor Course, the qualification to teach new FIs, not easily gained I might add.
Definitely intentional but a slightly loose definition of a "true" spin. There are two ways to argue with a woman.
Neither of them work!
Re: Class of 2012 & Achievements 2012@KNT754G My mistake - I had misunderstood you have just joined the ranks of qualified Flight Instructors. Well done, and I'm sure no mean achievement. I've added you to the list - third so far this year on record here.
Still a few days left for a last final qualification to add on here, so if there are any more (including those from earlier in the year that have been overlooked), feel free to add you details below and I'll update. Newbie PPL/Night/IMC flying rented PA28

Re: Class of 2012 & Achievements 2012THIS THREAD IS FOR 2012 - so please DON'T add any new achievements gained in 2013.
However, if you do have a late entry that you forgot to mention during 2012, feel free to add your reply below. Newbie PPL/Night/IMC flying rented PA28
