First T20

Postby Paul Incognito » Wed Jan 12, 2011 12:40 pm

Want to get this comment in before the end of the game so I'm not accused of being a sore loser...

Has the foot-over-the-line no-ball been abolished for this version of the game now? At least two of the England wickets have been taken from no-balls as far as I can see. I thought in T20 these were a run followed by a free-hit?

Not seen any on the box (have it playing online at work), but....

Whatever one may think about twenty20, and I'm not its biggest fan, it can set up some super close finishes!

England 1 - 0 Australia :D

And unfortunately the run comes to an end in a game that was probably easier to win than most of the previous 8. Age old problem with targets that are perceived to be low - players don't push when they have the upper hand.

Oh well, series tied but have a similar attitude to T20 - it's fun, but it doesn't really count, other than to maintain that unbeaten streak in all forms of the game.
