CrossOver OSX Garmin

Postby 172510 » Sat Nov 03, 2012 9:20 am

I'm currently training for CPL(A)
The aircraft is equipped with a Garmin 430
Of Course, during the training, we don't use it, as we have so many other things to do.
The school advises the students to self-train with the software, as the examiner might ask to use the GPS and to demonstrate somme proficiency with it.
The available software

does not work with 64 bits Windows. I have a three years old laptop, but it's still to young for that piece of software.
So I was wondering if it might work on OSX using Crossover.
Thanks to stevelup, I know that Skydemon works with Crossover, so maybe Garmin?

Don't see why not - just give it a try. Install it into the same bottle you installed SD into and see what happens.
