It's still outrageous.......I've seen avgas in the US (at quite a lot of airports) under $3 a gallon this week. That's including sales taxes. It's halved in a matter of weeks.
Add 32ppl duty(is that correct now?) and VAT - that's under £1 per litre. The fuel companies are ripping us off.

And Barton reduced to £1.70 inc VAT? That is a significant hourly cost (say £15 - £20 an hour in a 172). No wonder based aircraft are fueling offsite.
