The Duty rate goes up by 1ppl from 1st December but the price trend is still downwards, despite the £/$ exchange rate being rubbish.

It's still outrageous.......I've seen avgas in the US (at quite a lot of airports) under $3 a gallon this week. That's including sales taxes. It's halved in a matter of weeks.

Add 32ppl duty(is that correct now?) and VAT - that's under £1 per litre. The fuel companies are ripping us off.
I intend to live forever.... so far, so good.

Need to check the maths when I'm back in on Monday, but Gloucester's AVGAS should be down to £1.28 inc (15%) VAT for December...

No....£1.11 exc VAT making £1.28 inclusive. We've passed all the reductions on so far this year to try to keep the market buoyant.

The November price for Avgas in Jersey is 87p but only 82.65p for qualifying AOPA members.

(That is half the price of fuel at Shoreham!!! )

And Barton reduced to £1.70 inc VAT? That is a significant hourly cost (say £15 - £20 an hour in a 172). No wonder based aircraft are fueling offsite.
