I enjoyed that article. These are the sort of aeroplanes that no matter how crap they are we all want one for those perfect days.

Nice pics by Ollie, but whoever did the layout should hang their head in shame at flopping the Stearman pic inset into the bottom-left corner of the opening spread. You might get away with that with some aeroplanes, but not one with "U. S. ARMY" written across the wing in yard-high letters.
