I enjoyed that article. These are the sort of aeroplanes that no matter how crap they are we all want one for those perfect days. :)

Nice pics by Ollie, but whoever did the layout should hang their head in shame at flopping the Stearman pic inset into the bottom-left corner of the opening spread. You might get away with that with some aeroplanes, but not one with "U. S. ARMY" written across the wing in yard-high letters.

Yes but wasn't the "14" on the side of the aircraft still correct?

I kind fell in lust with the red Waco up at Cov and I have been looking for a organisation where I can get a ride in one. Thanks for the article.
