Does anyone know of a group formed around a Long-Ez, Varieze or Cozy III in the London area?
If not, is there an appetite for a new Non-Equity Group in the South/West of London formed around one if these aircraft?
Many thanks in advance.......
Not that I know of , I've never seen one of these aircraft in the London area. I think there was a cozy at either booker or Wycombe but not a group aircraft.
There's been some bargains on AFORS recently.
I'd be up for a share / non equity share. With it being permit you couldn't make it full no equity , but you could sell 1/20th shares , and the group agreement allows you buy back at any time , so you'd still keep control of your aircraft.
Where would you base it ? Denham might be a good option as its a hard runway, no hangerage but a composite aircraft should be fine outside.
I'd be interested, I'm a bit further SW though, not far from Bristol so probably not much use. Non equity route would be better for me also but happy to muck in with jobs.
Turbing on a strip near you
There's one at Biggin, although I think individually owned.

As far as I know, there are only three Cozy's operational in the UK. One is based on the Isle of Man (ok, I know that's not the UK ) and one is in the south east. I believe the third is in Gloucestershire.
The Varieze at Biggin Hill has been owned and flown by the person that built it over thirty years ago.
