CW PA28 Warrior share

Postby Sir Morley Steven » Mon Oct 22, 2012 3:23 pm

G-BICW PA28 Warrior II 1980 share for sale, £15k
This year we got a new paint job and interior and last year a new engine, no expense spared. The interior is full aviation grade leather and carpet and the paint is a full back to metal job with all new wing plastics. The engine was zero timed last year by Nicholson McLaren and the avionics are Michel box 1, king box 2, largely king other stuff and Trig Mode S transponder. Its on hard standing at Blackbushe and, although we have spent over 40 grand on it in the last 2 years a one third share is up for grabs for (as much as we can get) somewhere in the region of £15k.
Flying is shared ownership stuff, all fixed costs are monthly, currently £230 and fuel oil, contingency etc are paid on the hourly rate, currently £80 wet. Cambrai cover, photos below. Contact me.

Bumping this to the top. Almost certainly the nicest condition Warrior 2 around as everything is new. 70 odd hours on the engine, prop just about to undergo an overhaul (thanks to me bidding for it at the Aviators ball), a small group of 3 so ideal for the pilot who wants to go flying in his/her own aircraft (it really feels like it with a group of 3) but pay a third of the standing costs.
Rarely off the road as our engineer is Blackbushe based and lives in Yately, the village at the end of the runway. Its on hard standing too!
Offers around the asking price to me, i'll pass them on.

Sir M

I think it is because the picture is often chopped in half by the layout of the forum, and ROG needs to zoom the picture to see it all, think it was mentioned a few weeks back in one of the threads.

Edit to say that even at full width the photographer has chopped the tail off

Still got a bit missing--end of tail. Bit worrying--like a proper tail on planes I fly.

Steve won't mind me saying this I am sure but Charlie Whisky is a lovely a/c and if I had the funds it would be my first choice if I was buying into a PA28. Take a look - it's a fab machine.
