Warrior share at Biggin Hill - SOLD (Aug 2012)

Postby jollyrog » Sun Jun 06, 2010 8:13 pm

We have a one sixth share available in the G-BHOR group at Biggin Hill.

PA28-161 Warrior with all the toys.
Garmin GNS430W GPS/COM/NAV, Garmin SL30 COM/NAV, Garmin GTX-328 Mode S transponder, twin Garmin GI-106 CDIs and Garmin GMA340 audio panel. Narco DME, King ADF. 4 place intercom, autopilot, life jackets, cover, McMurdo PLB. Well maintained with no outstanding defects (see comment on paint below). No expense spared for maintenance! Certified at the higher MTOW for Warriors - 2,440lbs.

Aircraft is in tip top condition and in 2010 had a top end overhaul with three new cylinders and one refurbished. Garmin GNS430W recently installed, February 2011.

New avionics upgrade (Garmin SL30 and GI-106 CDI) installed in June 2012. We're also having the wings & stabilator resprayed, the group has agreed this expenditure and quotes are being sought.

Group has a healthy current account and engine fund that is on target for full value of engine replacement, when due. No maintenance cash calls made or expected, only cash calls have been by agreement for upgrades.

Charges are £110/month and £100 per tacho hour (wet).

Friendly group of six including a Class Rating Instructor, availability excellent.

Flew 150 hours last year, on target for 150 this year. ARC due in September 2012.

If you're interested, please PM/email me for further information. £8,000 OVNO.

Bump...

One share sold and the second subject to a pending offer. The first two people to view and test fly this aircraft decided to buy!

Unexpectedly, we have a third share available, so you still have a chance to buy into this lovely PA28. Contact details unchanged, please let me know if you're interested.

Annual taking place next week, so this aircraft will be as fresh as you can get.

One sale completed with one happy new group member. The other didn't work out, so aircraft still available. Contact details unchanged.

Currently in the hangar for the Annual, expected to be out and flying early next week.

Bump... shares still available. Annual completed, without incident, so aircraft ready for another year of fun.

Please contact me if you're interested.

We're having a group cleaning session on Saturday 31st July at 1000 (local), so if anyone would like to come along and have an ad-hoc viewing and meet some of the group members, you are more than welcome.

Bump... still available. One very happy new syndicate member, but a few expressions of interest that didn't go any further have left the shares still up for grabs.

Please contact me if you'd like a look.

Drove past it last weekend when it was parked up, looks a very nice aircraft.

If I wasn't already in a group, I'd definitely be up for a look.

6 shares at £8300 means you value your a/c at £50K?

Seems a bit pricey to me..........

We have a whopping great engine fund/bank account to be considered in that value, well in excess of £13,000. The two members who bought in recently were satisfied that the price was correct. I also paid more than the current asking price for my own share.

This is a financially stable group with no cash call history. But, as I said, open to offers or discussion on the price if anyone is serious.

I guess location may have something to do with it: We just sold a 1/6 share in a similarly I/R equipped arrow with larger engine fund and our own airstrip for £6K.

But then we're out in the boonies with a very low pilot density and shares traditionally take 12 months + to sell. Market forces at work..........

Good luck : it looks a nice a/c.

Stop press...

The group has just placed an order for a Garmin GNS430W GPS and Garmin GI106A CDI to be installed in the aircraft. Work to be completed in January. This will make Oscar Romeo FM immune and IR equipped, with a second (non-immune) glideslope and COM available.

One share still available if that interests you!
