Ministry of Aircraft Production - Halifax

Postby Ian Melville » Sun Aug 19, 2012 12:47 pm

Many years ago I acquired a small number of photos that were publicity/propaganda from the Second World War. Bored last night I scanned some into the PC. Some of them are not the best quality originals, some have also sustained damage that would indicate that they had been discarded. One has an imprint of a hob nail boot!!

This first group are annotated by hand on the back "Set 22E", then a number of the image. I don't have the full set. They are also rubber stamped "FOR YOUR BULLETIN BOARD, To be returned to A. E. Marsh, P.R.O., M.A.P." Clearly that is permission to post them on a forum :D

If there is interest I also have some on the Mosquito(3), People(3) and Photography(12). The later is about Photo Reconnaissance.
