Flying TV chopper at WRC Wales (photos)

Postby Ashley » Sun Nov 13, 2011 12:06 pm

Spent the day at the WRC Wales (Sweet Lamb stage) event yesterday. Along with lots of shots of the cars I also took some of the helicopters flying around, most notably the Flying TV chopper

This Gazelle tried landing here. Even though i was half a mile away looking through a zoom lens, even I could tell it wasn't going to work !!
He decided to find a better spot !

Challenging three days!

Postby mona44 » Wed Nov 30, 2011 11:00 pm

PIXL/PIXX are my day job 'office'. Three fun days at WRGB but some pretty rubbish weather that made things a challenge. Those Sweet Lamb shots on the Saturday were just as things were getting better.

Incidentally, if there's anyone on the photography forum who's near Denham and good at air-to-air, I'm looking to get some shots done of my RV6.

Regards,

Mona

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
