The last post? The last post on this site is dated Oct 27 – is it dead?

Re: The last post?Rod
This Forum has not been replaced and neither has AOPA run out of steam. The main means of mass communication between AOPA and its members is the magazine "General Aviation", we also have our own website. If anyone wants to post on this forum they are welcome to do so but no-one is forcing them to. You posted on it and you got a reply from Timothy who is an active member of the AOPA Members' Working Group and you've now also had one from me, I'm on the Executive Committee. Is there a purpose behind you're enquiry other than to check that we are awake? Mike

Yes – I thought the idea of having an AOPA forum, open to all on Flyer was a very good one. I was disappointed that it had fallen into disuse and was wondering if that was because it had been replaced. Rod1
Re: The last post?Keef constantly teases me about my music forum being dead. But this one is definitely pining for the Fjords.
CPL, IMC, FI(A)... And a beige devil.
Re: The last post?Still open for anyone to raise AOPA specific topics here and expect to get a response.
The only times AOPA will "self-generate" topics is if there is some very pressing need to attract the attention of people who may not visit our website, though the AOPA UK website will be the first post by choice. Members and non-members are welcome to browse the website, through which you can contact AOPA UK direct on any specific issue. I suspect that if we decided that this medium was no longer needed and took it down we would get criticism in the General Discussion forum.
