Updating your AOPA membership details and e mail settings

Postby Chris Royle » Wed Jun 29, 2011 8:41 pm

Dear all,
It would be greatly appreciated if you would take a moment to update your contact details via the AOPA website
In particular, please update / confirm the e mail address you wish AOPA to use to contact you.
Whilst on the subject of emails, can you make sure that your system has not classified e mails from AOPA as spam.
Many thanks, :thumleft:
Chris

Error 106

Postby UpThere » Sun Jul 03, 2011 8:12 pm

I filled in the form, clicked submit, and got the following really helpful error message:

ERROR - Failed Spammer Checks - Err#106 !!

I used to write data validation code with error numbers, back in the days when PCs only had 640K of RAM. What's the excuse now?

I reinput everything, this time without my membership number, and it was accepted.

Sorry about that. We use a form-handling bolt-on that has a bit of a mind of its own when it comes to combatting SPAM.
