Just received my copy of the April newsletter and there was a great April Fool joke in it that suggested EASA were so overwhelmed with comments, they are asking not to have to consult with the user community in future.
Close enough to have been believable it it hadn't come out on April 1st. Well done lads

The IAOPA newsletter may have come out on April 1st but the request from EASA didn't!!!

Worrying from EASA: "We can't handle democracy, so we plan to eliminate the pretence and rule by decree".
There's lots of history of that elsewhere, and it usually ends in tears.

If they came out with sensible suggestions in the first place there would not be 10,000 negative comments on their proposals
