About the AOPA Forum

Postby Mike Cross » Sun Feb 10, 2008 5:16 pm

Ian Seager has kindly agreed to host an AOPA Forum here. It's not intended to supplant AOPA's own Forums but to provide a presence for AOPA UK on one of the most popular UK aviation sites. This Forum is not monitored by AOPA staff, if you want an answer to a specific question please contact the Office. Discussion on here is between individuals acting in a personal capacity.

I also think that is an excellent move - well done AOPA and Ian.

One was wondering about that.

Kind of goes against what was discussed at the weekend Mike :?:

Now sorted.

What do we mean by guest? Non registered users or non AOPA members?

I think allowing registered posters who are not AOPA members but interested in the organisation and who have questions should be OK. AOPA only discussions can be moved to our own forums.

A little careful moderation should keep things on the straight and narrow.

"Guest" postings are those made by users who are not registered on the Flyer Forums (i.e. are not logged in). I believe the policy of The Management is not to allow them to post (i.e. you can view but not post if you are not logged in) and the loophole has now been closed.

All users of the Flyer Forums are welcome to post in this AOPA Forum.
