Time Zone

Postby Talkdownman » Thu Nov 01, 2012 9:59 am

Something strange about the times of posts. Sometimes they are UTC, then sometimes they are UTC plus one...as if they are postings in the future...

Ah, they appear to be UTC when logged in but UTC + 1 when logged out...

...or has Flyer Forum finally sent me completely nuts...

Anything's possible!

Logged in, you can choose your time zone. Leave it logged in and confusion is minimised :)

It's in your settings. From the top of the page, select "User Control Panel". Click on the "Board preferences" tab. You'll see the last but one setting is "Summer Time/DST is in effect". Click on "No" and submit.

Thanks, but "No" already selected hence UTC when logged in. Re-selected, saved...but still no change. On log-out it still returns to UTC + 1.
Ho hum, I tried, but thanks anyway Gents...

The Admin panel says you're set to GMT, TDM. Whether it'll stick when you log out and in I dunno.
