Why does it take 16 seconds to change any page on flyer forums and only 2 seconds on Pprune?

Im getting really pi%%ed off with it.

Because Flyer is 8 times better than PPRuNe and it's worth the wait.

More seriously Flyer seems to vanish completely for half an hour or so, quite often (several times a week).

I'm not sure why this is happening for you - the pages are very quick to load for me, even with a carp internet connection.

I hesitate to mention it, but have you tried deleting your flyer.co.uk cookies etc?
