We are definitely going, we have a slot at Vagar booked.
The question in the air at the moment is whether we are being offered accommodation in the Faeroes in exchange for a seat in the aircraft.
I will prompt Son 1 to find out more about this.
I think that we will still have a spare seat or two. But we need to know about accommodation even before we think about the spare seats, because...well, Ice, you know why

Having spoken to Timothy recently (who I think now has a full ship), I too have requested permission to fly to and operate from Vagar during the eclipse. I will be taking either a Seneca or a TB20, probably the former. If I get permission, I will have spare seats available, and we will then have to sort out accommodation. Having visited the islands before with Gareth Davies and Janie (in a PA28), they are quite spectacular in their own right.
