Andy - I'll try and join you at Bembridge. What is your ETD?

Failing that, I might just taxi up to the hangar for a cuppa!

It's stunning down here in the Shires; damn shame we're closed! Lots of indemnity users by the sound of things. I'm thinking of a NYD Fly in for 2014....

I went for a bimble around the Kent coast from Elstree and it was beautifully smooth.

Back from a local bimble around Hinton (where the grass never seems to get waterlogged) in the D9 -- glorious visibility, but quite choppy wind.

Back from visiting Leicester.

Nice to see, G BEPY, Pete S, Rod, Aussie Andy and Stephen Day. There were a number of other familiar faces - but they didnt have lanyards.

Unfortunately despite being advised of the number of visiting aircraft, Leicester were not able to cope with the demand for food and drinks.
We arrived at 12.25 - and it took 1 hour 20 minutes to get two toasted egg and bacon sandwiches.
They were not giving out tickets or anything to identify who owned which food order, therefore when the girl walked out and shouted "two bacon sandwiches" - they got snaffled by "late comers", whilst the real owners got nothing.

Unfortunately Pete S and several others had to leave without ever getting the food they had ordered and paid for.

Great day for flying - greast viz - just a bit hazy looking into sun on the return journey to Waltham.

Lanyards - that's the secret then. We were there in GAVSA and met up with Mick W from Sturgate; but didn't recognise any of the other eminent forumites - though I did spot quite a few of your aircraft!

Mono - wow, that is up and at 'em. I think we were going to bed about then!

Lefty - good to see you, along with Pete S, and the others. You should have ordered ham and cheese toasties like what we did ;)
