Basic" facts" I've seen reported in various places (and thus are in the public domain) as follows:

PA28 with 3 POB attempted to depart Frank's strip
Hit trees
Crashed onto A40
Minor injuries only.

Last time we all jumped to conclusions on very similar sounding basic facts it turned out to be that the take-off wasn't overweight, and the aircraft was not delivering expected performance because of mechanical problems.
