Sorry to ask for help but squeezed on time so can't do a detailed search, can anyone point at a definitive list of French Customs airfields and specifically is Abbeville still customs and if so and not stretching anyone's goodwill too far, do you happen to have a current customs email address?

Yes , it is on this Saturday (25th) with those LAA members who want assistance with Flight plans and Customs forms etc , arriving at Rochester between 09:30 and 11:30 where local LAA Kent Strut members will be on-hand doing the briefings.

Hopefully I will be at the Abbeville end about 10 oclock (11 french) assisting arrivals and then the departures back to blighty.

Think there's enough up there to work, all I'll add is if it is a PNR for Customs (it usually is), I normally give the mail a subject 'Avis de vol sans Schengen' as I don't particularly want them to arrive, but they might wish to. There's a subtle difference between Indicatif and Immatriculation (callsign vs. registration) but for most of us they're the same anyway
